Training for CGS Catechists
We are pleased to announce that classes to train new catechists in The Catechesis of The Good Shepherd will be held at GSCM during the fall and winter of 2015-16. Special rates are available to GSCM parents. Registration is currently open
The dates for the classes to train to become Level I Catechists are:
Nov. 6-9, 2015
Jan. 15-18, 2016
Feb. 12-15, 2016
The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd requires training for adults at each level or age group. Level I is for children ages 3-6, Level II is for children ages 6-9 and Level III is for children ages 9-12.
Each level of training requires 90 hours of lectures, lesson presentations, material making, and atrium observations.
You’re invited to participate in a Level I formation training for adults, spanning three four-day weekends in late 2015 and early 2016.
Normally the cost for this training is $435, however, GSCM parents qualify for the following special rate: $250 + $35 CGS Certificate Fee.
