Cincinnati, OH (February 28, 2025) – Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori is delighted to announce Deacon Nathan Beiersdorfer as the school’s inaugural Executive Director. The announcement comes at the end of a six-month formal search process led by the Board of Trustees and informed by the school community’s input.

“During the hiring process, Deacon Beiersdorfer visited our school and met with numerous members of our community,” says Board President Tim Navaro. “The overwhelmingly positive feedback we received reinforced our confidence that Deacon Beiersdorfer will be an exceptional leader and advocate for GSCM.”

Deacon Beiersdorfer comes to GSCM from his current role as Chief Financial Officer at Archbishop Moeller High School, where he was instrumental in strengthening the school’s long-term stability and growth over the past eleven years. In addition to his leadership in finance and operations, Deacon Beiersdorfer also worked to advance Moeller’s Catholic identity and mission, including serving as chaplain of the Moeller football team.

Before his time at Moeller, Deacon Beiersdorfer was Vice President and CFO of Endeavor Construction Company, and prior to that, he served as a non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. Deacon Beiersdorfer is an ordained permanent deacon for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and serves at St. Cecilia Parish. He and his wife are raising their three young children on their family farm.

“Praised be Jesus Christ!” says Deacon Beiersdorfer. “It was clear from my first visit that God was calling me to join GSCM’s mission to form students who know, love and serve the Lord.”

“I am grateful to the board, Ms. Vega, faculty and staff, parents, students and alumni of the GSCM community for the warm welcome and for the trust you have placed in me. I am excited to begin the good work He has placed before me and, alongside the community, build upon the incredibly solid foundation of the past 26 years.”

Beginning this summer, Deacon Beiersdorfer will oversee GSCM’s business operations, advancement, and community engagement while strengthening the school’s mission to provide an excellent and faithfully Catholic Montessori education. Principal Anne Marie Vega will continue to lead the school’s academic vision, faculty development, and student experience. Principal Vega and Deacon Beiersdorfer will work closely together, with both reporting to the Board of Trustees.

“We are very excited to welcome Deacon Nathan to GSCM at this great moment in GSCM’s history,” says Principal Vega.

“He brings a wealth of experience that will help GSCM to continue to grow and strengthen as a community dedicated to Catholic Montessori education. During the process he showed a deep understanding and commitment to our mission.”

“I look forward to working closely with him so that GSCM can thrive in the next 26 years and become a witness of what it means to build God’s Kingdom through the child.”
