Catholic Schools Week: January 29 – February 4

Monday, January 30: Church Appreciation Day
Grade school students will begin the week in worship before our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration. Join us for Adoration:
10:15-10:45 Lower Elementary
11:30-noon Upper Elementary and Middle School
Dress-Up Day: Students may wear dressy non-uniform clothes to school.
Tuesday, January 31: Parent Appreciation Day
Parents are invited to join us for our regular 8:15 a.m. Mass. Following Mass, the staff will prepare an Appreciation Brunch for parents in the atrium. Please join us!
The students will be sharing special notes of gratitude for their parents.
School Colors Day: Students may dress in school colors (blue and gold/yellow)
Wednesday, February 1 Staff Appreciation Day
Students will share expressions of appreciation with teachers and staff. (Parents, you should have received a separate email re: staff appreciation day)
Jersey Day: Wear your favorite GSCM or sports team jersey. Non-uniform pants or skirts are permitted.
Thursday, February 2: Celebrate the Nation
Whole school recess: 11:30-12;15
Pep rally (in church or outside, weather dependent: 2:30
Classes will prepare their own original GSCM cheer to share with the school at the end of the day. The most original and spirited cheer will win a prize!
Parents are invited to attend the Pep Rally and be present for our Bold Vision Bright Future Milestone Celebration.
Students will prepare special thank you cards to GSCM supporters, with an expression of gratitude for the gift of their special school.
Patriotic Dress Day: Students may dress in patriotic colors
Friday, February 3: Student Appreciation Day
All School Skating Party, 12:15-2:15 p.m. at Castle Skateland in Loveland!!!
Crazy Hair and Hat Day: In addition to out-of-uniform clothing, students can wear their favorite hat and sport a crazy hair-do at school for a day!
