December’s Virtues Project
December’s virtue is Patience: waiting or enduring without complaint. Click here to check out the Virtues in Practice activities that you can work on at home with your child. While not required homework, many GSCM parents have found these enrichment activities helped them discuss with their children how these virtues are concrete examples of their Catholic faith.
Background on Virtues in Practice
Virtues in Practice is a program that parents can use to help their children grow in virtues. Developed by the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia Congregation in Nashville, Tennessee, the program covers 27 virtues over a three-year cycle. These three years emphasize and are named for the three theological virtues: faith, hope and charity. Learn more about Virtues in Practice.
