Dan Teller - Principal and Catechist

Dan received a B.A. in History from Trinity College in 1977. After working as a teacher-naturalist at outdoor education centers, he received his Masters in Montessori Education from Xavier University in 1984. Dan taught a 3-6 class at North Avondale Montessori School (the first such class in the Cincinnati Public Schools) from 1984-95, and then served as principal at St. Bernadette School in Amelia from 1995-98. He founded The Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori (then called Queen of Angels Montessori) in 1998, and since that time, has been active there as a teacher, administrator, and catechist. Dan has completed Level I (3-6), Level II (6-9), and Level III (9-12) training in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, and served on the board for the National Association of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. He is a catechist in the Levels II and III atria. He and his wife Maureen are the parents of seven children ages 7 to 24. Dan enjoys woodworking, canoeing, hiking, and gardening. 

Nancy Toon – Administrative Assistant

Nancy joined The Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori staff as school secretary in January of 2004. For 15 years prior to coming to GSCM, she worked as a customer service representative for Response Online, a lead handling service. Nancy and her husband Jim have three children. Nancy enjoyed volunteering in her children's classrooms as they were growing up and she finds her position at GSCM a perfect fit as she is able to combine her office skills with her love for children.

Lynette Rosati-Shim - Business Manager

Lynette received a M.B.A. and a M.H.A. from Rush University.  After working for several years in the health care industry in the areas of finance and information systems, she took time off to have a family.  She has 7 children which includes three sets of twins (girl twins, boy twins, boy/girl twins, and a single girl).  She joined The Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori staff in 2009 after being a GSCM parent since 2001.  Her daughters graduated in the first graduating class (then called Queen of Angels Montessori) in 2007.  Lynette enjoys playing tennis, reading, and spending time with her children. 

Jana Widmeyer - Development Director

Already well-known to our community as a catechist and former PTO President, Jana has now taken on the position of Development Director.  Since this is a part-time position, she will also continue to serve as a part-time CGS catechist with our elementary students. 

Jana brings strong qualifications and a deep commitment to our mission to her new responsibilities as Development Director.  Jana earned a B.A. (magna cum laude) from the University of Cincinnati in 1983 and the Master of Arts (History) from U.C. in 1986.  Since then, a variety of work and related experiences have prepared her to advance our school through the Development Office, including:  development and public policy consultant for several local non-profit organizations; district representative for former U.S. Senator Mike DeWine; aide to the Hamilton County Commissioners' office, including duties of chief of staff, office manager, press secretary, advisor, constituent affairs director, and special projects co-ordinator; and membership on several local non-profit Boards.  Jana's effective leadership and organization are known to all who have worked with her in various capacities at our school, and her commitment to the school's mission and her warm smile are familiar to many.  Jana and her husband Mike have two children at GSCM.

Susan Fisher - Director of Marketing

Ellen Stephenson - Website Manager

Ellen earned a B.S. in Digital Design from the University of Cincinnati, College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning in 1999. After working for a local advertising agency, running a small design cooperative, and freelancing, she joined the GSCM staff in 2006.  Currently Ellen manages the school website and database. She is a troop leader for the American Heritage Girls and enjoys volunteering with her local St. Vincent de Paul chapter. Ellen and her husband reside in Kennedy Heights with their four children, who also attend The Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori.
